Borough of Greenwich: Big Dreams

Since August 2020 to July 2023, there has been 1,197 knife offences in Greenwich. This social-impact narrative film for the Borough of Greenwich raises awareness of the issue by focusing on the life of one young man and the future dreams that can be snuffed out by knife crime.

Nikon x Waterbear: Reclaim the Streets

In this short documentary film, Lucy Hamidzadeh, London-based photographer and Nikon Creator journeys to Paris to meet Ella Kowalska, founder of women’s street photography collective ‘Street is a Woman’. Founded as a counter-movement to the male-dominated and patriarchal creative institution, 'Street is a Woman' is a safe haven for women to exchange their views on the genre of street photography and break barriers and narratives about the role women play in this public space. Watch as Lucy and Ella connect over shared passions for street photography and follow as the collective meets to continue challenging traditional norms by embracing diverse aesthetic approaches and showcasing a wide range of emotions and styles through their work, as they look to Reclaim the Streets.

Following the lives of the fisherman in Thorupstrand, the last fishing cooperative in Denmark, this short documentary focuses on the issue of overfishing and how it threatens not only the fish stocks around Denmark, but also the livelihoods of these sustainable fishermen.
